Our Covid-19 Statement
At Torwood, the safety of our customers and our employees remains the highest priority so we have been working hard to welcome you back safely.
We’ve introduced new measures so you can enjoy a safe and comfortable shopping experience.
We may have need to limit the number of customers in store at once, depending on government guidelines.
Socially distanced shopping
Please bear in mind that due to the implementation of additional safety measures, queuing times will be a little longer. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Our employees and signage throughout the centre will remind you of the social distancing guidelines. We may ask you to follow a one-way system through certain areas of our centres, please follow the guidance from our employees and the signage
Extra cleaning and safety precautions
As you might expect, we'll be doing extra cleaning and sterilising to make the whole centre as safe as possible for you, including additional cleaning of customer toilets and ‘touch points’ such as card payment points throughout the centres.
Hand sanitisers will also be stationed at touch points throughout the store, as will protective screens at key points such as checkouts.
Our centre employees have been issued with additional personal protective equipment such as face coverings to wear and we would ask that you wear a face covering whilst visiting our store as per government guidelines
Card payments are preferred to reduce the amount of contact between you and our employees. Please use contactless payment where possible. Contactless limits are now £45 and Apple Pay and Google Pay limit is £100. If this is not possible, we will accept cash payments also.
We have also provided hand sanitiser at our card machines and installed protective screens at key points across the centre including checkouts to provide extra protection.
 Face Coverings
In line with government guidance, we request that you wear a face covering at all times whilst within the garden centre unless you have a valid exemption.
Importantly we would request that if you, or members of your household are displaying signs of Covid-19 including
  • High temperature
  • New persistent cough
  • A loss of sense of smell or taste
  • Or you have been advised to self-isolate, then you should postpone your visit to the centre.
 Online Ordering
We offer contact free delivery as standard. If you require any assistance please leave a comment in the notes section of the checkout. Our current delivery schedule from order is an estimated 3-5 working days. Please be aware that due to restrictions and demand these are subject to change, you will be notified by phone prior to your order being delivered.

We are delighted to welcome customers back into our store.
Our opening times will be:
Garden Centre
Monday to Saturday 9am to 5:30pm
Sunday 10am to 5:30pm
Blossoms Restaurant
Monday to Saturday 9am to 5pm
Sunday 10am to 5pm
Blossoms is currently open for walk in customers only. We are unable to reserve any tables at the moment.
As you enter our Car Park and Store, please take a little time to read our notices, as these outline the safety guidelines we have in place and we would respectfully ask you to follow these. These measures are for everyone’s safety.
Please do not visit our store if you or anyone in your household is showing symptoms of Covid-19.
We would kindly ask you to respect social distancing and only visit our store with one other person from your household.
We have placed hand sanitising dispensers at touch points throughout our store, please feel free to use these, especially when entering and leaving our store.
It will take a little longer to serve customers at our tills.  Please be patient, and follow the directions given by our till staff.  They will need time to sanitise the till area after each customer, which may lead to longer than normal wait times.
